Even though it usually acts as nothing more than a fancy alarm clock which I pay monthly for.. . . I am so very grateful to have a cellphone. Let me re-phrase. . . Even though it usually serves its purpose as nothing more than an annoying alarm clock in which my parents so wonderfully help out by paying monthly for. . . I am so so very grateful that I own a cellphone. A lime green one, in fact.
This little electronic device is such a blessing. It's so amazing to hear the voice of one of my family members back home.
I just got off the phone with my wonderful Grandma.
She's the coolest and I'm convinced that she knows all of life's secrets. I love her and Papa so so so so so much. It was such a tender mercy to have a little bit of time tonight to be able to talk to them. I need to call my parents and brothers too! Okay, I'm getting homesick now.
I'm glad I can talk to my parents and my Grandparents on my dad's side as well.
And being able to text all my wonderful cousins, aunts, and uncles?? Life is awesome.
It's fun hearing my brothers on the phone. I swear their voices get deeper every week. Having not heard them speak for a long while makes the change even more pronounced though they deny it (**ahem**Joe-nathan!)
I love my family and my little, green, ghetto cellphone is how I am able to stay connected to them.
What a neat, little device.
