The Fellowship of the Unashamed

The Fellowship of the Unashamed
I am part of the fellowship of the unashamed.
The die is cast.
I have stepped over the line.
The decision is made.
I am a disciple of Jesus Christ.
I won’t look back, let up, slow down, or be still.
My past is redeemed, my present makes sense and my future is secure.
I ‘m finished and done with low living, small planning, smooth knees,
colorless dreams, tamed visions, worldly talking, cheap giving, and dwarfed goals.
I no longer need pre-eminence, positions, promotions, plaudits or popularity.
I don’t have to be right, first, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded.
I now live by faith, lean on His presence, walk with patience, am lifted by prayer,
and labor with power.
My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is Heaven.
My road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions are few, my guide is reliable, my mission is clear.
I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, divided, or delayed.
I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversary,
negotiate at the table of the enemy,
ponder at the pool of popularity,
or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
I won’t give up, shut up, or let up until I have stayed up, stored up, and paid up for the cause of Christ.
I must go till He comes, give till I drop, preach till all know, and work till He stops me.
And when He returns for His own, He will have no problem recognizing me.
My banner will be clear.

I'm so blessed to have the knowledge that I have and to receive the guidance that I do for my every day life.

These past two days have been General Conference--a beautiful time when inspired men and women of God and a Latter-Day Prophet speaks to the people offering profound wisdom, answering prayers, and giving comfort. My heart is so full at the words I have heard today and yesterday.

I implore you to click this link:

watch, listen, and be edified spiritually. I feel so incredibly serene and content with the knowledge that I have that Jesus is my savior and Redeemer, He lives, and through His atonement, no sin or sorrow ever need be permanent. My testimony is my most precious possession. Thus I share with you only in my desire that you will be able to partake of the delicious fruit of the gospel and be filled with His love, knowing your divine place in the world. You matter. God loves you and knows of your needs as He does with mine. I cannot express fully how much this knowledge means to me or how much it has helped me in my life. I promise, that its free to anyone who sincerely desires and seeks for Christ with pure intent.

-Amen
